    Day 02 : Sunday Sariska

    Sariska - Famous for its Tiger Reserve where magnificient tigers, leopards, sambhars, nilgai, and cinkara can be spotted in their natural habitat. We depart for Chittaugarh after lunch on-board. In the afternoon we visit the Chittaurgarh fort, lauded in legends valour and chivalry.     07:30 - 09:00 hrs: Visit to National Bird Sanctuary.Bharatpur ( Ghana ) once the former hunting preserve of the royal family of Bharatpur, the sanctuary is home to storks and nearly every other kind of bird imaginable. You'll see more than 250 different species nesting on the tops of trees and along the roadside, as well as snakes, lizards, exotic fish and monkeys. Lucky visitors can spot the rare Siberian Crane that migrates to this preserve annually. Also found are chital, black buck, deer and other varieties of animals.

    10:30 - 11:30 hrs:Visit Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted, red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. It was a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins" are still in pristine condition. Also visit the Buland Darwaza the largest gateway in the world.

    15:00 - 17:00 hrs:Afternoon sight-seeing tour of Agra city visiting the impressive Agra Fort, and of course, the most perfect architectural monument in the world -The Taj Mahal.Taj Mahal is the mausoleum of Empress Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved spouse of Shah Jahan, who died in 1630. The Taj is remarkable for its perfect proportion and rich pietra dura, with minute details executed with great skill. The building, often styled "a dream in marble" is said to have taken at least 22 years (1631-1653) to build.

    Drive to Neemrana (122 kms / 02-03 hrs). Built since 1464 AD, Neemrana Fort-Palace is among India 's oldest heritage resorts. Neemrana became the third capital of the descendants of Prithviraj Chauhan III, who was killed in battle by Mohammad Ghori in 1192 AD. This picturesque site was chosen by Raja Rajdeo and Neemrana derived its name from a brave local chieftain Nimola Meo, who when defeated by the Chauhans, pleaded that his name be given to his lost kingdom.

    After breakfast visit the Amber Fort , you ascend the fort on elephant back. Amber Fort in Rajasthan built in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, is one of the finest examples of Rajput architecture. Perched high on a barren ridge, it commands extensive views over a deep narrow valley and the wider plains beyond. The building was finally completed in the early18th century when the threat of Mughal domination was receding. Amber was once, the capital of the Mina tribes, believed to be the original inhabitants of this region.

    After lunch enjoy sight seeing of the pink city visiting City Palace , Jantar Mantar - the observatory, Hawa Mahal - the palace of wind and the colorful bazaars.

    City Palace - Located in the capital of Rajasthan, the City Palace of Jaipur or the main palace is an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthan and Mughal architecture. The vast palace complex occupies one seventh of the walled city of Jaipur . Originally built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of the Kachhwaha clan of Rajputs, additions have been made to the palace complex by many of his successors. The complex is divided into a series of courtyards, sprawling gardens and buildings. It is home to several palatial structures like the Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Badal Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum . In the first courtyard is the 'Mubarak Mahal', built by Maharaja Madho Singh II in the late 19th century. The Mubarak Mahal, or the Auspicious Palace , contains the textile section of the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum.
