Morning fly to Guwahati and drive to Kaziranga National park to see the one horned Rhino.

| Kaziranga National Park |
Bandhavgarh National Park is a common meeting point of history and nature and is not at a far distance from Kanha. It is surrounded by the Vindhyan ranges and comprises of a series of ridges passing through it. It is famous for its high density of tiger population with around 25 resident tigers over an area of 105.40 sq. km. earlier. But at present, it is spread over an area of 437 sq. km. in which half of it is covered with fine stands of Sal where as you can experience the view of mixed forests over the elevated reaches of the hills. The stretches of bamboo and grasslands extend to the north. Its most arresting feature is its area in the core of the Park with 32 picturesque and forested hills. |
| Also, there is an ancient fort on a precipice at a height of 800 m. The ancient history of Bandhavgarh, can be studied or explored in its caves which were excavated from the cliffs to the north of the fort. Brahmi inscription dating to the 1st century BC, it was a hunting reserve of the royal families of Rewa in more recent times and was declared as the Park in 1968 which led to the discovery of famous white tigers of Rewa. |

| You can enjoy the horrifying views of seeing a tiger along with a nilgai, chausingha, chital, chinkara, wild boar, and jackal by ambling through the Park on the back of the elephant. There is also a wide variety of inhabitants which include muntjac, jungle cat, ratel, hyena, porcupine, the rhesus macaque, and the black-faced langur. Not only animals, you can listen the chirping sound of around 150 species of birds including migratory birds which arrive in winter such as the stepple eagle and the other water birds. In order to have an exciting and magnificent view of the birds, there is a provision of climbing up to the Bandhavagarh fort. Also, there is a small population of black buck which is kept under protection from being attacked by the predators. |
